Acoustic Firing Devices are part of essentially non-magnetic equipment used in the proximity of magnetic influence ordnance. It provides US Navy divers with a safe firing system for underwater demolition operations.

- Torpedoes
- Sonoboys
- Other similar devices
Acoustic Firing Code Transmitter, Mark 92 Mod 1
The AFCT MK 92 MOD 1 provides safe remote acoustic command actuation of the MK 58 MOD 0 AFD to support Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) missions involving underwater explosives and explosive actuated tools.
