Hi-Shear cutters designed for robustness and can be used in space as well as in deep submergence applications. Over the past 20 years, the SL series cutters have demonstrated high reliability on countless earth-orbital missions. Hi-Shear cutters are built with the option to be single blade or mechanically redundant. All SL series cutters have been fully environmentally qualified to MIL-STD-1540 and other applicable aerospace requirements. Recommended to be used with the PC series Power Cartridges. Cutter
