Hi-Shear on Standards Selection Committee

Hi-Shear Technology Corporation is a supplier of release, actuation and deployable mechanisms used on critical space missions. As a vital supplier, The Aerospace Corporation of El Segundo, California invited Hi-Shear Technology Corporation as a committee member for creating two new standards for Space and Launch Vehicles. The Standards are:
  1. Criteria for Explosive Systems and Devices used on Space Vehicles
  2. Standard for Moving Mechanical Assemblies for Space and Launch Vehicles
The effort is done under a U.S.Air Force Space Command, Space and Missile Systems Center contract awarded to the Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, California. It is sponsored by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The standards are scheduled for completion in late 2005.
