Hi-Shear Technology Corporation, Torrance, CA
(AMEX: HSR) today announced that it has been awarded a $3.5 million contract by
the U.S. Department of the Navy, Mechanicsburg, PA, to manufacture, test and
deliver analog recovery sequencers. Deliveries are expected to begin in March
2006.
The analog recovery sequencer produced by the Company is fitted on the pilot’s
seat of an advanced fighter aircraft and controls the ejection process for the
pilot from the time the ejection “button” is hit to the deployment of chutes and
chute release on landing. The recovery sequencer is used on the, F-15, F-16,
F-22, F-117, and A10 fighter aircrafts, including the B-1 and B-2.
