The Arrow Missile, a U.S.-funded Israeli-developed missile interceptor is designed to protect at high altitude in conjunction with the low-altitude protection that is provided by the Lockheed-Martin PAC-3.
Hi-Shear designed and manufactures 4 critical pyrotechnic components for the Arrow missile interceptor, and also developed a key element of the PAC-3.
This first-ever U.S. demonstration is a prelude to deployment of the Arrow in selected countries worldwide.
The Arrow is manufactured at the MLM Division of Israel Aircraft Industries, with subassemblies from Boeing/Huntsville used in the final assembly effort performed in Israel.
